Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community.

At Edgeware School many students are connected to one or more external services upon enrolment. These services include legal, social, and medical. Our school tries to work closely with these services, as well as with students, families, and carers.

Edgeware School is closely linked with a range of healthcare providers who they can assist students to access such as paediatricians, nurses, and counsellors. Services can be accessed either externally or in school based on specific requests and needs.

Edgeware supports services that are accessed by students such as Juvenile Justice, DCJ, accommodation, respite care, community activities, mentoring, and food assistance. Our partnerships also extend to social services that cater to diverse backgrounds, including connections to Aboriginal community organisations.

Edgeware School maintains flexible management to facilitate access to both internal and external services, offering students the best opportunities to build and sustain connections with these supports.
